And here we are

So now that the semester is over and Christmas is done with, let me take advantage of the time off and upload a whole bunch of strange and beautiful things for you.
Inspired by one of my favourite gag cartoons, "FIGHTING MAD SCIENTISTS"
Trying to draw mens' faces. Can you guess which one I liked drawing the best?!
It's me! Old-timey style! Thank god it's the future now, and I've since learned how to draw hands. Here, check out these caricatures of my teachers.

And this is Gregorith, a 3D project I needed some timely portraits of. Check out some of my sketches and then the final product!

And just because I haven't been here in a while, please enjoy these strange audio tape inserts/covers from some Danish children's song collections (at least that's what I think they are?)

Team Awesome

A concert poster I'm working on and having a lot of fun with. (Inspired by that portrait I did of myself which can also be found here somewhere)

Fun at work

Thank you to Dustin who wrote the note 'I' wrote to myself. I decided to spend the lunchtime illustrating the story instead of going for chinese food with them.

Comics are for kids

I was babysitting tonight when the kids decided to look at some of the comics I drew. Then they got all inspired and decided to draw comics themselves! Since I couldn't think of anything, I re-drew Marcus' comic. I don't get it.

Sweet new computer!

I just bought myself a new laptop over the weekend. It nearly broke the bank at $24 from the Salvation Army! I don't want to get into the habit of just putting up photos, but this was such an amazing find, I have to share action shots with you!
Weighing in at 15 pounds and housing a 20 megabyte hard drive, this beautiful Toshiba T1300/20 is so KEEN.
Simple and effective main menu. I'm looking for some new wallpapers, but this should be okay for now. (I've since changed the date to today's, by the way.)Some system settings? I especially like how the date's been reset to 1900. (Sharpened in Photoshop to increase legibility.)
From the power of my computer-snooping and Google abilities, I discovered that this lady was the laptop's previous owner. Note to people who donate their personal computers and/or laptops to thrift stores: delete your resumes and other important information first, otherwise weirdos will stalk your photo on the internet.

Overall, a winning weekend. (And I didn't even mention the soapbox derby!) I figure I'm going to use this laptop for school to take notes in. Hopefully the keyboard is really loud and klackety. Also, if anyone has any information on this particular model, knows how to use it, please let me know! I'm looking for manuals, programs, anything.

End of 2 month break

I've been working. And looking through really old photos. This is one I've restored. Expect to probably see more in the future!

Random goodies!

These are sketches for a drawing project I'm working on. Drawing on a guitar is great fun! And it's really neat to carry around.
This, on the other hand, I have no explanation for, but it makes me want to crawl out of my skin. GROSS. and SICK.

Might it be... A fanciful hat?

Notes taken during my Art History seminar.

Someone buy me a new scanner

I haven't been able to scan new things, so here's some old things. Like my process of drawing tank treads onto torsos......and an unforgettable photo of myself as a child. My cheeks had 20/20 vision!

BONUS! English class

You see me at the back of the class writing furiously when you speak? SURPRISE! I am actually drawing nonsensical things instead!

It's not really a sketch, but...

...I'd be selfish not to share these gems with you. Some guy I found in a family photo album who goes by the name of Richard Roussel. I hope if anyone Googles him, they will find this.
